Invisalign® acts as a set of invisible braces, gently moving teeth over time through the use of 3-D technology and clear, sturdy aligners. Each customized aligner is utilized for two weeks, and then is replaced with another aligner to keep repositioning teeth with the goal of a beautiful smile in mind.
The aligners themselves are personalized for each patient’s individual needs using state of the art 3D mapping that charts the entire process from beginning to end. The amount of Invisalign® aligners required for each patient depends on specific orthodontic needs, and can range from 12 to a total of 48 through the course of orthodontic treatment.
